Payment in full must be made at the time of registration. You will not be considered Registered until payment has been made. Barber – Carving & Sculpture Inc. prefers payment by E transfer but also accepts PayPal payments as well as credit card, cash or cheque. Registration may be made in person or on our website. NOTE: There is a $25 administration charge (+ HST) on all NSF cheques.
We urge you to register early, at least two weeks prior to commencement of the course. Space will not be reserved without full payment. Barber – Carving & Sculpture Inc. reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
WITHDRAWAL, REFUND, TRANSFER AND CANCELLATION POLICY
If for any reason, you wish to withdraw from a course for which you have registered, you must file your request in writing to the instructor with a copy of your receipt, with the following in mind:
- Prior to the start of classes (up to the starting date of the class) the student receives a refund of the course fees, less a $25 (+ HST) administrative charge.
If for any reason you wish to transfer from a course for which you have registered to another course, and your request can be accommodated; a $25 (+ HST) fee will be charged for transfers made prior to the start of the classes; and a $25 (+ HST) fee will be charged for transfers made once the first class has taken place.
MAKE UP CLASSES
If any classes are cancelled due to weather or the instructor’s scheduling a make up class will be arranged.
If classes are missed due to reasons that are the student’s such as illness, vacation, work commitments etc, the instructor is not committed to providing a make up class but may do so if possible at an additional cost.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Participants in our courses agree to carve at their own risk and release Barber – Carving & Sculpture Inc. as well as the course instructor from all liabilities. We ask that you wear safety glasses at all times in the workshop and follow the course instructor’s guide to carve safely.
